Dumbur Lake is scenic 41 sq km water body in Tripura's Dhalai district, shaped like Lord Shiva's drum (damru). Located about 115 km from Agartala, it is a popular nature retreat featuring 48 islands (notably Narikal Kunja), boating, water sports, and log hut stays. Created by the Gumti Hydroelectric Project, it is a major tourist destination near the Tirthamukh pilgrimage site.
